Update Your Blog By Posting Song Lyrics

Aside from re-posting song lyrics that have already been on three million lyrics sites, the blogger subjects his reader to painfully interpret the damned lyrics and link it with what presumably is happening to the blogger today. The only people qualified to correctly empathize are the blogger's confidante and best friend.

I could post the lyrics to my favorite songs, Anita Baker's Rapture, and George Michael's Amazing, and no one would know why the hell I posted them in this blog. An explanatory note would be nice. But I guess posting lyrics about falling in love with someone's smile would be one of life's better mysteries.

Screw being diplomatic. Bloggers who post song lyrics without any logical reason should go the way of the dinosaurs. Emphasis on logic here - if you want to post some lyrics for a birthday or a death anniversary, fine; but don't trick us into viewing your "updated" blog and then having to spend a ridiculous amount of time reading through a full song, not knowing what to make of it. It's just sad.

Post your damn song lyrics on Friendster Bulletin Boards instead. You'll get your desired audience there.
